Hey everyone,
Finally, list #2 of resources is here.
It was time for a list that all ENM and poly folk could access, independent of location.
Here is a list of my favorite ENM content, hope you enjoy it too.
In the ever-evolving landscape of relationships, the non-monogamous community is thriving, and there's a wealth of knowledge and support available online. Whether you're curious about open relationships, polyamory, or relationship anarchy, these Instagram accounts (many with podcasts) offer valuable insights and personal stories to help you navigate the world of consensual non-monogamy.
Meet Laura Boyle, an educator, partner, parent, and the author of "Ready for Polyamory: a Pragmatic Guide to Consensual Non-Monogamy." Laura is a fierce advocate for relationship anarchy and offers valuable classes on sex education, kink, boundaries, and cooperative negotiation skills. Laura Boyle is a relationship coach with over 15 years of lived experience in non-monogamous relationships. She has young kids and practices a relationship anarchist leaning style of non-hierarchical polyamory in her personal life. She maintains the most often-cited Polyamory Glossary online and keeps the Ready for Polyamory blog & podcast to provide accessible information on non-monogamy online.
Annie is an artist and writer working to normalize diverse relationship styles and varied sexual experiences. She is a queer, kinky, relationship anarchist on a mission to incite individuals to experience personal revolutions. Annie began writing about her experiences when she started dabbling in kink in 2019. Just before the pandemic, she found herself getting into non-monogamy and this came with an explosion of introspection. Thus, her Instagram account was born. Annie has explored a variety of relationship styles, and is currently continuing her journey of self discovery. She has wide experiential knowledge in non-monogamy, kink, and exploring healthy relationship dynamics. In addition to the free content on Instagram, Annie offers a host of services from confidential peer to peer support sessions, in-depth analysis of her relationships on the Close Friends list, essays, original artwork, her zines, and one time email support.
Jessica and Joe Daylover are poly parents, authors, and entrepreneurs. Their journey into polyamory was rocky because they had no mentors, no cultural script, and no support. They launched "Remodeled" as a way to change that path for others. They have been together since 2009, married since 2013, and officially polyamorous since just before their wedding. Joe is an English lecturer at the University of Nevada, Reno, and Jessica is a live event and digital media producer and entertainer. They are also developing a community-building app called nuclear fusion to help individuals and families find, build, and sustain their village.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Jhen (she/her) is a pansexual and polyamorous Black woman who hosts the Monogamish Pod, a podcast exploring non-monogamy and polyamory through a Black Caribbean lens using pop culture and interviews. Engaged in polyamorous practice for the past 10 years, Jhen is sharing stories and creating a deeper understanding of the different facets of non-monogamy and polyamory that BIPOC experience. The Monogamish Pod podcast a fresh perspective on non-monogamy and polyamory through a Black Caribbean lens.
"No two relationships are the same, even if you are ating the same person. Keeps your eyes on your own paper." said Jhen when we asked her to share a tip.
